Hello everbody, PikaPoster here, and welcome back to the latest installation in the Forbidden Light Deck Tech series. Today we will be looking at the newest of the Ultra Beasts, Naganadel-GX.
Naganadel-GX
Naganadel-GX 210HP [P]
[C] Beast Raid 20+
This attack does 20 damage for each of your Ultra Beasts in play.
[P][C][C] Jet Needle 110
This attack’s damage isn’t affected by Weakness or Resistance.
[C][C][C] Stinger-GX
Both players shuffle their Prize cards into their decks. Then, each player puts the top 3 cards of their deck face down as their Prize cards. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
Weakness – [P] x2
Resistance – [NONE]
Retreat Cost – [C]
Strategy
This card has two major uses. The first is a nice attacker / Buzzwole counter, and the other is Stinger-GX. This attack can give you 3 prizes and put back 2 of your opponent’s, if you are at 1-6. Even if you aren’t, this card can still balance the game quite well in a sticky situation.
Beast Box
This strategy simply fits as many different UB’s on the bench at once as it can, and uses Beast Raid to deal the majority of the damage. It tends to favor a Metal or Fighting typing, utilizing baby Dusk Mane Necrozma, baby Buzzwole, Kartana-GX, and even Nihilego-GX. This is a much more chaotic variant than the Buzzwole-GX one I am about to show you.
Buzzwole-GX
This is a much more consistent variant of Naganadel-GX, as it only uses Naganadel-GX and Buzzwole-GX, along with possibly baby Buzzwole or Kartana-GX as tech options. (Kartana-GX takes advantage of Beast Energy.)

I will be showing you an example of the Buzzwole variant, as I think it is much more consistent and will consequently be harder to beat. (Also, Ultra Recon Squad is optional, I’m just using it because I pulled an FA one at the prerelease!)
