Hello everybody, PikaPoster here, ready to show off one of the most “Chansey” decks in existance. It really is so “Farfetch’d” that it’s based on Araquanid FLI.
Araquanid FLI
Araquanid 100HP [W]
[W] Bubble 30
Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed.
[C][C] Bubble Trap 40+
If 1 of your Pokémon used Bubble during your last turn, this attack does 80 more damage.
Weakness – [G] x2
Resistance – [NONE]
Retreat Cost – [C]
Strategy
This card might seem like any other mediocre Stage 1, but if you look closer, you will notice the sweet combo with its attacks. The only bad part is the flip for Paralysis. If only there was a way to make that easier…
Victini
Victini, or “Fliptini” as some call it, is a Pokémon that allows you to reflip an attack. Now, this stacks, so you could potentially have 4 of these guys on the bench for an approximately 200 percent chance to flip a heads. However, we don’t really need this, so 2 of them will suffice.
Now, with a Fliptini or two on the bench, and a charged Araquanid up, we slap a GX with 60 (choice band boost) and Paralysis the first turn, and a solid 150 (also banded) the second. 210 with Paralysis is not bad for a spider that is literally living inside of a bubble!
The List
Now, while this deck is certainly not going to be winning any tournaments (but it would be cool if it did), and it is purely a fun deck to mess around with at league, it uses concepts that are essential to any good deck. It utilizes synergies between Pokémon and gets the best possible use out of a ‘Mon. (Also, this is a budget deck, so no Lele.)
