Ultra Prism Deck Tech – Luxio/Luxray ULP

Hello everybody, PikaPoster here, and welcome to another deck tech post. Today we will be reviewing the card Luxray ULP and its previous evolution, Luxio.

Luxio ULP

Luxio 80HP [E]

[C] Disconnect 30
Your opponent can’t play any Item cards from their hand during their next turn.

Weakness – [F] x2
Resistance – [M] -20
Retreat Cost – [C]

Strategy

In your deck, the main attack you will be using is Disconnect, as opposed to Luxray’s damage one. You can do this with the Pokémon Shining Celebi. It lets you use the attacks of previous evolutions, letting you keep the Abilit Intimidating Fang, as well as the higher HP, and still use the disruption attack.

Shining Celebi

This card is absolutely essential to this deck. It lets you pull of the Luxio/Luxray combo, which is necessary to win.

Mismagius CRI

This card is yet another disruption card, and it can be relatively useful in this deck. If you have four spare slots, try using this card.

Fot this list I will be using a few different techs, but focusing on the other locking Pokémon Mismagius. This means that I will also be using a lot of disruption cards such as Hammers and Grunts. Here is the printable list.
