Strategy

Manaphy ULP is very much a utility card. With an attack that only does 20 damage, and another that pulls back 5 water energy from the discard, it can’t really be used as the main Pokémon in a deck. However, in a deck that discards water energy, it can be quite good.

Golduck

Golduck SUM is a card that does more damage the more water energy you discard from it. This pairs well with Manaphy, but in general I would say that Starmie EVO would be a better partner for Golduck.

Greninja BREAK

Greninja BREAK is probably the best pair for this card. With an ability that discards energies every turn, Manaphy can be used alongside other cards to get the energy back to the hand.

Ribombee

Ribombee has an ability that searches the deck for 2 basic energy cards every turn, which pairs well with Manaphy’s Deep Currents attack.
