Ultra Prism Deck Tech – Empoleon ULP

Hello everyone, PikaPoster here, and today we will be looking at one of the coolest (in my opinion) rogue deck Pokémon of all time, Empoleon ULP.

Empoleon ULP

Empoleon ULP

Empoleon 160HP [W]

[W][C] Total Command 20x
This attack does 20 damage for each Benched Pokémon (both yours and your opponent’s).

[W][W][C] Whirlpool 90
Discard an Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokémon.

Weakness – [E] x2
Resistance – [NONE]
Retreat Cost – [C][C]

Strategy

Empoleon ULP’s first attack is the one we will be looking at today. For two energy, it does 20 damage times the number of total benched Pokémon.

Alolan Sandslash/Octillery

Alolan Sandslash and Octillery are both cards that let you draw more if they are on the bench. This means they are a good use of bench space. However, I would personally go with Sandslash, as it lets you always draw one card, where as Octillery lets you draw up to 5.

Glaceon-GX

This card is pretty amazing, as it lets you lock tapu lele on the first turn. This keeps out pesky brigette and lets you KO your opponent’s Pokémon in peace. I swear I’m not using this because Glaceon is my favorite Pokémon. What are you talking about?
