Ultra Prism Deck Tech – Salazzle ULP

Hello everybody, my name is PikaPoster, and welcome to another Ultra Prism Deck Tech. Today we will be taking a look at the card Salazzle ULP, and how it synergizes with the special condition burn.

Salazzle ULP

Salazzle 110HP [R]

[R] Panic Poison
Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Burned, Confused, and Poisoned.

[R][C] Hunter’s Nails 60+
If your opponent’s Active Pokémon is affected by a Special Condition, this attack does 60 more damage.

Weakness – [W] x2
Resistance – [NONE]
Retreat Cost – [C]

Strategy

Salazzle ULP is an interesting card. It takes advantage of special conditions to do more damage, while also dealing out three special conditions per turn. This card will make your opponent want to pack some Big Malasadas along!

Infernape

Infernape ULP is a card that I reviewed a few days ago. It has an ability that makes burn do 6 damage counters per turn instead of two. That makes Salazzle’s attack do insane damage, plus 120 for burn!

Seviper

Seviper BUS is a card that makes poison damage do 10 more damage per Seviper. With 4 Sevipers, poison does 50 damage between turns, with no coin flip. If you’re in expanded, you can also use Virbank City Gym, to boost it up to 80 damage per turn.

Deck List

Simply for the sake of sticking to Ultra Prism cards, I will be using burn synergies, instead of Virbank City, which is expanded as well. Also, note that if you don’t have Leles, you can make this list without them. Add in some Oranguru SUM or Octillery BKT and you will be fine. Click Here for the printable decklist.
