Hey everybody! From the other side of Thanksgiving, Christmas seems a lot closer! Today we will be looking at a Christmas decklist and some Pokémon fanart.
Christmas Pokémon
Delibird is possibly one of my favorite Pokémon. He is funny, cute, and gives people presents that blow up. What’s not to like!?
He is also has had some really cool Pokémon cards over the years. The one from Neo Revelation was a Colorless Pokémon with only 1 attack: Present. This is a Delibird exclusive move, and has a neat effect.
Present – Flip 3 coins. If exactly 1 is heads, this attack does 40 damage. If exactly 2 are heads, remove 3 damage counters from the Defending Pokémon. If the Defending Pokémon has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them. If all 3 are heads, this attack does 60 damage. If all 3 are tails, remove all damage counters from the Defending Pokémon.
There is also the Delibird from HGSS, my personal favorite. It is really good in an Unlimited format Keldeo-EX deck, like the one at the end of this post. Here is the Delibird:
Snowy Present – Draw a card for each Water Energy attached to all of your Pokémon.
Hail – This attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Winter Sawsbuck is most certainly a beautiful Pokémon. It is like a deer with frosty fur, and snow-covered antlers. It seems so majestic and amazing I am sad they didn’t make a card of it. Here is my own fan-made card of it.
Ah, Abomasnow, why art thou decorated in the fashion of a tree? And why in the world is there a shiny Mothim next to your head? Anyway, Abomasnow is definitely the best candidate for the Christmas tree. Trevenant and Mega Sceptile could work, but Abomasnow takes the Poké Puff. He is a great tree, although he isn’t very enthusiastic about it…
