Hey everybody! It’s time for card of the day with PikaPoster! Today I will be reviewing the cards Ponyta and Rapidash, fire horses from XY11 Steam Siege.
Ponyta
Ponyta is a horse Pokémon with yellow and red-orange flames making up its mane and tail. Its fiery mane and tail grow out about an hour after hatching. Its body is mainly cream and has four long legs, each ending in a gray hoof. These hooves are said to be harder than diamonds. It also has amazing jumping abilities, and is capable of leaping tall buildings in a single bound. However, a newborn Ponyta is a weak runner and is actually barely able to stand. It gradually strengthens its legs and becomes faster by chasing after its parent.

This card is actually really cool if you think about it. For 1 colorless energy, it can take back 2 fire energy cards from the discard pile and put them into your hand. I give this card 3/5 stars.
Rapidash
Rapidash is an horse Pokémon with four slender legs and black hooves. Its body is cream-colored, and it has a horn on its forehead. It also has small red eyes and pointed ears with red insides. Red and orange flames stream from neck and part of its back. Flames also form this Pokémon’s tail. Rapidash is a very agile Pokémon. It runs at about 150 mph (240 km/h), chasing everything that moves in hopes of racing it. With incredible acceleration, it reaches its top speed in only ten steps. At full gallop, its hooves barely touch the ground.

This Pokémon is a really cool Stage 1. If it’s attacks did slightly more damage, I would play it. The only way I would play it is in a Infernape deck that needs energy in the discard. This cool Pokémon from XY11 Steam Siege gets a 3/5 star.
