Hey everyone! This is PikaPoster, back with another Card of the Day! Today we will be looking at the Dual-type Shiftry line – Dark and Grass combined.
Seedot
Seedot is a small, brown Pokémon that resembles an acorn. A beige, mask-like pattern covers its large black eyes, and it has two beige feet. It has a gray “cap” with a short stem on top of its head. The stem is used to hang from tree branches in its forest home. While hanging, this Pokémon absorbs moisture and nutrients from the tree until becomes too heavy and falls to the ground. The more it drinks, the glossier its body becomes. Additionally, Seedot polishes itself with leaves once daily. If it remains still, it can be mistaken for a nut and startles others by moving suddenly.

This Pokemon is a weak basic from the Steam Siege expansion. With low HP, an attack that does no damage, and overall bad stats, I give this card a 1.5 star.
Nuzleaf
Nuzleaf is a bipedal Pokémon with a single green leaf atop its head. The leaf is smaller on the female. This Pokémon is mostly brown with a beige mask marking on its face. Its bulky thighs are also beige and have thin striations, and there are what appear to be two nipples on its chest. It has thin arms with mitten-like hands. If its long, pointed nose is grabbed, Nuzleaf will lose its power.

The only good thing about this XY11 Stage 1 Pokemon is its ability to survive. Harden lets it survive any attacks under 60 damage. I give this card a 2 star.
Shiftry
Shiftry is a large, brown bipedal Pokémon. A shaggy white mane covers most of its face and trails down its back. Long pointed ears poke out the top of its mane, and it has a long, pointed nose and a large mouth with teeth that are usually bared. Its eyes are yellow with black sclerae. Three broad leaves with brown spokes form each of its hands, and are used to create powerful winds close to 100 feet per second in speed. A female will have smaller leaves than the male.

With 2 very weak evolutions, you would expect the final to be almost as weak. As it is, Shiftry acctually is an extremely powerful card. Two good, cheap attacks, and natural compatibility with the cards Hugh and Judge. I give this card a 4 star.
