Staraptor: the True Star of the Sky

Staraptor

Keen eyes, sharp talons, and a brave personality. Staraptor is truly all a bird lover could want. It can even create cyclones with its wings! This is truly a Pokémon you don’t want to cross.

Staraptor

Staraptor is a black and grey bird Pokémon similar to a hawk or eagle. It has dark red eyes and a small, but sharp, yellow beak. There is a white patch on its forehead, which is smaller on females. A red tipped, black crest extends over its head, almost reaching the black part on its beak. Staraptor’s pride and joy is the crest on its head, so it keeps it clean and full at all times. It has a large wingspan, and uses it for attacks such as Whirlwind and Gust.

Cyclone Slash

This is my favorite move that Staraptor has. For only two colorless energy, you switch out the opposing Pokémon with a benched one, and then do 70 damage. This is especially useful for taking that last knockout to win the game. You swap out a Pokémon with 70 HP or less, and then knock it out. If  Staraptor has a Muscle Band on it, it can knock out a Pokémon with 90 HP instead.

Brave Bird

In this case, the name really does suit the attack. You have to be brave to use brave bird. It does 120 damage, as well as 20 damage to itself. If you have the item Protection Cube, you can hit for 120 without any backlash.

Combos

Protection Cube
This will protect Staraptor from all damage inflicted upon itself with brave bird.

Muscle Band
This will make it do more damage, so you can take many more easy OHKOs with Cyclone Slash.

Rating

This is an above average Stage 2 Pokémon. I rate it a 3.5 star.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all
site owners and bloggers made good content
as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

  2. Hola! I’ve been reading your site for some time now and finally
got the bravery to go ahead and give you a shout out from Humble Texas!
Just wanted to say keep up the great job!
